You will usually find me out in my shop building custom kitchen cabinets, custom furniture and more for clients from International Falls, to Lake of the Woods, Roseau, Rainer, Warroad and the surrounding northern border. Not only do I build custom cabinetry, I also do fun projects for companies across the country.
Here is a cool little project I’ve been working on. This box is the enclosure for a wind sound generator. It is used to test microphones in smart phones and tablets. Yes it is a departure from our normal things but it is made out of wood so we can handle it. The company I sell them to installs all the controls and electronics and we make and finish the wood box. I am currently working on five of these boxes. One of them stays with the company for their own use, two go to Samsung in Korea, one goes to Beats in California, and the last one goes to Apple in California. So who knows, maybe the next iPhone, or tablet you buy will be tested by the box built at Wood Interiors in Loman, MN.
