Distressed, Rustic, Black Walnut Bedroom Furniture

These bedroom furniture pieces were custom distressed to achieve a rustic look for a client in Littlefork, MN.
Custom-designed table and chairs
Quarter-sawn White Oak gives the classical old-world look and Black Walnut inlays give it a unique modern flavor. There are also custom chairs built to match. They are complete mortis and tennon jointery and have a Black Walnut peg through the mortis. These chairs are custom-built to fit the back of the customer as well as custom height. There are also a few barstools with extra short arms as well. The customer is going to do the upholstery on the chairs himself so they have a raw wood seat in the pictures.

Custom Red Oak Bookcase
This Red Oak custom book case was built to match the profile of the ceiling. It has a custom stain to compliment the flooring. The backs on the upper part are finished to match the walls to make the room brighter while the lower section are stained to match the book case. This built-in bookcase features adjustable shelves in each section.
